The Type 80 (Chinese: 80式衝鋒手槍; pinyin: 80 Shì chōngfēng shǒuqiāng) is a close-combat machine pistol that was used in China in the 1980s by the People's Liberation Army (PLA). It was developed by Norinco in the 1970s, influenced by the design of the German M712 Schnellfeuer.
