Urengoy (Russian: Уренго́й; Nenets: Пюра ңо, Pjura ŋo) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Purovsky District of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia. Population: 5,845(2021 census);[1] 10,066(2010 census);[2] 9,329(2002 census);[3] 11,868(1989 Soviet census).[4]
