Urvil Mukesh Patel (born 17 October 1998) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Gujarat in domestic cricket and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. He is a right-handed batter and wicket keeper.
Domestic career
Patel made his Twenty20 debut for Baroda in the 2017–18 Zonal T20 League on 7 January 2018.[2] He subsequently made his List A debut for Baroda in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 7 February 2018.[3] Ahead of the 2018–19 domestic season, he transferred from Baroda to Gujarat.[4] He made his first class debut for Gujarat against Tamil Nadu in January 2024.[1] On 27 November 2023, he scored the second fastest century in List A cricket by an Indian batter, reaching the landmark in 41 balls.[5] On 27 November 2024, he scored the fastest century in the history of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Tripura.[6]
