Introduction

I am currently a Senior at York College, City University of New York, pursing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. My goal is to become an Organizational Psychologist or a Child Psychologist. I am taking Organizational Psychology to gain a deeper understanding of what this area of study is all about. My other areas of interest in the field of Psychology are:

• Theories of Counseling
• History of Psychology
• Motivational Psychology

I/O Psychology Class 253

This class is taught by Professor Ashton and it is not only geared toward teaching students about I/O Psychology but to help students to become organized with academic work life. At the completion of this course I will like to understand:

1. The methods I/O Psychologist use to create stratergies improve organizations.
2. The methods I/O Psychologist use to create productive and healthy work environments for workers.
3. What areas in business I/O Psychologist are in high demand.

The Psych 253 Wikipedia Project

Another major component of this class is learning about Wikipedia. Students are given the opportunity to become contributers to Wikipedia by editing I/O Psychology Articles. To explore the possible benefits of using Wikipedia as a source for I/O Psych Articles and come to an individual conclusion as to whether Wikipedia is evill or not^[1].
