Blake Welsh is an American cybersecurity researcher and technology entrepreneur, best known as the founder and Chief technology officer of Axiom Gaming, a company specializing in Gaming PCs and high-performance computing systems. Welsh has been recognized for his work in cybersecurity, including responsible disclosure of multiple large-scale data exposure vulnerabilities, and is listed in the AT&T Bug Bounty Hall of Fame[1] and the PayPal Wall of Fame[2] for ethical hacking contributions.
Research work in cybersecurity
In 2015, Welsh identified and disclosed several security flaws in the systems of major U.S. companies, including vulnerabilities affecting MetroPCS[3], LifeLock[4] , Charter Communications[5], and Verizon[6]. These issues exposed sensitive customer data but were reported and patched after disclosure. Coverage of these findings appeared in outlets such as Vice Media, BuzzFeed, TechCrunch, and Fast Company.
