User:Clovermoss
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi, I'm Clovermoss. My username is a combination of the words clover and moss. My name in real life is Hannah Clover. You can use either half of my name if you wish. I have a slight preference for Clover because it is also a shortened form of my username and the average person is more likely to know you're talking about me if you say that.

I created my account on September 16, 2018, when I was 16. Some people describe me as a "content creator" – it's a term with varying definitions and I'd say that plenty of people are more skilled at writing articles than I am. While I have started many articles of my own, I'm also interested in improving those that have been started by others. I have also spent a lot of time doing gnome-like tasks like creating redirects. I don't really focus on going through our quality review processes, but I did manage to write two GAs: Katherine Hughes (activist) and ketchup chips. I've also submitted a handful of DYKs.
I think the world would be a better place if we all just talked and listened to each other more often. It's not healthy for people to feel like they have to bottle everything up. It's a recipe for situations to get to the point where they can't be ignored anymore and everyone ends up feeling terrible then. Obviously, I don't want anyone to ever feel that way about me. I will always do my best to address constructive good faith feedback. I may not always agree, but I'm always willing to listen. I don't see any concern as too small. If it matters to you, it matters to me. I like understanding why other people think the way that they do. I also hope that they understand my whys; if you're ever confused about the reasoning behind any of my edits or actions, feel free to seek clarification so you can understand them better. That said, I do ask that you be civil when interacting with me and not assume that your perspective is universal.

Subjects in which I may have a conflict of interest are:
- Wikimedian of the Year – because I've been one
- Wikimedia Foundation – because they've given me scholarships to various meetups and covered the flights
- Jimmy Wales – due to his role in WOTY
- Seafarers' International Union of Canada – current union
- WikiPortraits – I have received some compensation for a Wikimedian in Residence type role. I'll be working on categorization and structured data related to files taken through WikiPortraits.

Other stuff
- User subpages: Editor reflections (feel free to contribute!), bling, meta and content.
- Wikipedia:Backlog – There are a lot of backlogs, especially in regards to content issues. Category:Articles lacking sources has 34,566 articles. I'd like to bring more awareness to it and my userpage seems like the perfect place to do so.
- My RfA and the related BN thread. If you ever have any concern(s) about my admin actions, or my actions in general, please feel free to talk to me about it. I'm always willing to listen to feedback. I have written an essay about my experience with RfA here. I also successfully nominated Elli, Significa liberdade, and Sohom Datta for adminship.
