Hello, I’m Dr. Andrew James Steinmetz! Here's my personal website where I share my projects, blogs, and research in physics. I’m an Academic Professional at the School of Physics, Georgia Tech and former Global Professor for the University of Arizona at the Arizona College of Technology, Hebei University of Technology in Tianjin, China. My work focuses on ⚛ quantum mechanics, 🌌 cosmology, and 🧲 electromagnetism.

- The Ardalambion, a popular Tolkien-invented language resource, by Helge Fauskanger, moved domains from https://folk.uib.no/hnohf to https://ardalambion.net/. I initiated the request (with some changes done manually) to correct all Wikipedia links to the new domain.[1]
- Extending the article on photographer Thomas E. Askew by adding his work's use by the television show Abbott Elementary.[2]
- Revising the article on 33 Polyhymnia to include information and research regarding its potentially unusual density.[3][4]
- Spent a crazy about of time to find the original source of an image of the Deuteronilus Mensae from the Mars Global Surveyor. Then uploaded the photos to Wikimedia Commons.
- Correcting the misattribution of a National Geographic photograph of a Mongolian lady to the queen consort Genepil. [5][6] Apparently this mistake keeps cropping back up![7]
- Jumpstarting a discussion to fix to how proper time was described.[8]
