From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I edit a lot of stuff, formerly focused mostly on American elections and politics, and now spend I think most of my time here adding images to Commons.
I have a list of tools I use a lot lower down the page but here's my two scripts:
- User:DemonDays64/Dumb quotes.js -- replace “curly quotes” with "dumb quotes" per MOS:CQ
- User:DemonDays64/Scripts/Ref tag spacing.js -- remove spaces before references
(to find easily bc i lose this lol) Add archive links with IABot Management Interface!. Also: Flickr search with proper licenses

About me
Hi! I've always thought Wikipedia was cool. I made my account on September 8, 2018. I edit a ton. I have a bot that edits HTTPS into applicable links. It is a bit more involved to run than I'd like so I don't do so very often; if you have categories it should edit and/or links that it should turn into HTTPS, please tell me on my talk page
.
I mostly edit politics-related stuff, particularly state politics, which are super undercovered here. Lately I've been doing a fair amount of moving public domain files over to Commons -- going through Category:Public domain images ineligible for copyright (logo) and copying over obviously-PD American ones and finding mislabeled American ones in Category:All non-free logos. On Commons I've been working on finding free images on Flickr for state politicians and uploading political campaign logos.
I've made a few templates, but only this one was actually somewhat interesting:
I've started one alright non-stub article:
- Adella M. Parker (found on Women in Red's list of articles to make)
I've started a few stub articles about state legislature elections (I think this is missing some):
- 2014 Connecticut State Senate election
- 2016 Connecticut State Senate election (with a map I "made" [read: edited from a map of another election])
- 2018 Montana House of Representatives election
- 2020 Delaware State Senate election
- 2020 Nebraska State Legislature election
I've started a few other stub articles (there are more than this, largely state legislators):
- Nasrallah v. Barr (not a stub now but I did at least make the very first bit of the page)
- Skulduggery Pleasant: Resurrection
- Vanessa Lillo Gómez (found on Women in Red's list of articles to make)
I've made a couple userboxes:
