I am a female scientist who likes tidying up other people's writing if it means I can delay editing my own manuscripts.

• Earth Science: I have a PhD in Geophysics (which is why I mostly edit tectonics and structural geology pages)
• Marine Science: I have sailed off Japan, Indonesia, Antarctica, Chile, Alaska, Cascadia, Central America, Louisiana, and Hawaii.
• Miscellaneous World Heritage Sites
• Science Fiction/Fantasy: I read a lot and retain a lot of useless facts from somewhat obscure series. I also read author commentaries and biographies.
• History: Eclectic interest that includes ancient natural disasters, Greek and Roman accomplishments/mistakes, the early Christian church, renaissance scientists, the industrial revolution, imperialism, colonial independence, World War II, and how people have interacted with the natural world throughout time.
