I had found Wikipedia in several searches for various topics of interest without ever really knowing what it was. One day I noticed the "edit this page" tab and thought for sure that I had some how found a hacked site that was giving everyone access to edit the site. That's when I did a little more looking and discovered the wiki concept.

Areas I like to work on:

  • Science updates - adding the latest science findings
  • Protected areas - National, state and local parks, monuments, etc.
  • Historical sites, especially National Register of Historic Places.
  • United States Federal Government institutions (NOAA, NASA, etc.)
  • Recent changes patrol

Currently working on

  • Adding descriptions to Wikidata entries.
