I'm not hacked! From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello! Welcome to my User page! My name is Ivebeenhacked, and I heavily contribute about aviation topics. You may also see me significantly contribute in war topics, phones, and movies/films. I also have a significant interest in learning and visiting a lot of countries, particularly Middle Eastern countries. I started to dream about being a pilot in 2018, when I watched a YouTube video about Malaysia Airlines Flight 17. After that, I watched billions of other YouTube videos about other aviation accidents/incidents, such as the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, Gol Transportes Aéreos Flight 1907, the Boeing 737 rudder issues, etc. My focus then shifted to basic and "somewhat" advanced stuff and features about aircraft like a yoke, flaps, vertical stabilizer, MCAS (Boeing only), and more. If you have questions about my contributions or simply me, feel free to ask. I definitely absolutely never in my life will bite you....

Background about Ivebeenhacked

I originate from Maharashtra, India, and when I was very young, I moved to Kampala, Uganda. I lived over there for a very long time until COVID came around and my dull life transformed into a passionate traveller. From there, I've travelled to so many countries. As of right now, I live in the United States.

My dream of being a pilot was short-lived after I... "watched billions of YouTube videos about other aviation accidents/incidents". Honestly, I was super scared because if I died from a plane crash, who'd take care of the people who cared for me the most? My heart, however, still wouldn't leave the aviation topics so, in 2018, I finally decided that one day, I'll be an aeroengineer for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. After seeing how Boeing embarrassed themselves, I had been considering of moving on to Airbus Industrie or even create my own company of manufacturing airplanes but lets see what other surprises life has in store for us!

4th Quarter of 2025 update: I've once again been looking into piloting an aircraft, commercial ones specifically. Let's just see how that goes for me, yeah?

This user was born in India.

Major Achievements on Wikipedia (IMO)

An article of mine, 2024 Kamchatka Mil Mi-8 crash, reached the "In the news" page, therefore being in the Main Page, on 6 September 2024. This, of course, wasn't gonna be possible without 80+ editors.

I reached my 10,000th edit on 11 August 2025 here on 2025 in aviation.

Hopefully more in the near future....

Sockpuppet Investigation

Apparently, someone decided to launch a sockpuppet investigation against me back on 28 April 2025. Funny thing is, because I wasn't notified of the investigation, I finally found out the day I'm writing this, 26 February 2026. When I did find out, I spent a good 20 minutes analysing all the links and everything, making sure it really was me (it is). And I pledge that I don't have a second account.
