I'm Kinu Panda, a Wikipedian from San Antonio, Texas. I've been editing the English Wikipedia since 2005 and have served as an administrator since 2007.

I have a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and a M.S. in Applied Statistics from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I currently am pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Statistics and am a lecturer.
My interests (both on- and off-wiki) include transportation, mathematics, atheism, beer, and dachshunds.
I plan on writing a lot more about myself once I have the time to think through it. In the meantime, feel free to peruse my collection of unsorted userboxes and other sundried items.
Oh, I've also accidentally blocked myself once.

Current goals and efforts
Overview
- Update articles related to highways in Texas:
- Merge standalone FM/RM, SL, and SS articles as appropriate to lists
- Use {{excerpt}}, {{main}}, and {{further}} to remove/streamline redundant content between lists and standalone articles
- Fix dead-link Template:Texas Mapbook citations
- Remove OR content cited to Google Maps, etc.
- Improve Texas US articles (e.g., 183, 281, 283, 285), with goal of GA status
- Improve SH articles in Category:Stub-Class Texas road transport articles to C-class or better
- Administrative patrolling: WP:AIV, WP:RFPP, WP:UAA, WP:CSD, WP:NEWPAGES
