My first account on Wikipedia was Retroboy260 (talk · contribs). I created this article to facilitate the development of an article about IQ in the United States. As a nationalistic kid, I was very easily offended by the narratives that all Americans were dumb, so I sort of tried to create this article as a sort of counterpoint article. Like with a lot of people who get into things they don't fully understand, I realized that article writing was a bit more complicated than that and lost interest. I only made two other edits before I lost my password sometime after mid-2019.

I created my account on June 3, 2020, to edit the subscriber numbers on the Kurzgesagt article. I then made sporadic edits throughout the rest of 2020, before frittering out, only making two edits in all of 2021 (the single mainspace edit was this one in December regarding the Aral Sea). I believe that my inactivity was, in part at least, due to me forgetting my password. I presume that me signing back in then started a new age of activity; but said activity didn't really pick up until May 2022, when an interest in local history prompted me to edit a few Houston-related articles. I really got the ball rolling when I began editing articles about the Grandmasters of the Teutonic Knights in July, and by September, I had become a regular contributor. I became extended protected in November, and received NPP in early 2024.

This user is a member of the Association of Inclusionist Wikipedians. The motto of the AIW is conservata veritate, which translates to "with the preserved truth". This motto reflects the inclusionist desire to change Wikipedia only when no knowledge would be lost as a result.
