My Journey

My Journey on Wikipedia started from January 2025. My 1st edit came up while I was reading a article and ultimately found that editing is allowed on Wikipedia. My one of first edit I made was on article Science Olympiad Foundation, which was reverted by a editor patrolling recent changes. I was very disappointed at that time, because I really put efforts into it, and learned how to edit, but was reverted because of original research concerns. I even created a draft, that I know today that it can never qualify as article, but I didn't know that time, due to this my draft was repeatedly rejected. This was the major turning point, since I find many guidelines and policies, due to that incident.

I also found that these laws are enforced by the editors like me. One of the first flags I had on this platform was rollback, I was given this right due to my experience in recent changes and handling vandalism, I examined the request WP:PERM/ROLLBACK, and practiced to get skills for that right. Very soon I got pending changes reviewer rights too. These early achievements were very motivating for me, this is when I found myself to be useful for Wikipedia community.

In June 2025, due to some issues I was not able to contribute and predicted that I may take a long time before coming back. Hence, I request revocation of my flags. However, it didn't took that much time, and eventually returned on July 2025, roughly 1 and half months. However even after that, I didn't actively contributed till January 2026, this time I didn't request revocation.
