Introduction
Industrial and organizational (I-O) psychology involves the application of the methods, facts, and principles of the science of psychology to people at work.[1]
The Wikipedia Project
The main purpose of the project is to enhance Wikipedia articles pertaining to I-O psychology, with information from academic journal articles. The other reasons for this project are:
- To learn I-O Psychology content
- To develop writing skills
- To develop an understanding of crowdsourcing
- To reflect upon the value of Wikipedia
- To reflect upon our ability to create knowledge
- To develop self-directed planning and follow up [2]
