Hi I'm Zenryzap
I've been an editor since October of 2023. I have studied French for 4 years and latin for 4 more. I am currently attending University of New Orleans and I intend on permanently residing in New Orleans. I care about history and accessibility of information.
You can put anything in ref labels. [a]
I suck so hard at wikitext
Biases
Descriptivism over Prescriptivism
I am agnostic
I live in America and thus I have a western perspective that will always be present.
I’m neither left wing nor right wing.
I am strongly anti-AI.
I believe that individual cultures and languages should be preserved and protected as long as possible.

Mistakes
I will— often— forget; (punctuation) mark’s (…).
I can be over enthusiastic about small things, the first 20ish edits I made were so that I could edit the Charles III page to add that he’s agnatically a Glücksburg, and when I finally could I added a huge section about it and such which was just way way too much. Thankfully someone with a level head reverted it.
I can be a little loose about sourcing when it’s something I don’t necessarily care about, though if I care about something I will care about sourcing. I’ve been following a small Scandinavian content creator for 3 years while periodically asking her about an article she wrote 4 years ago that is still the only source on wether or not Wilhelm II actually held the title of Burgrave of Nuremberg or if that was just a joking thing that some people called him because he stayed there.
Interests
I enjoy learning about French history, a good portion of my largest edits are in relation to that. I like most history, but French history is most fascinating to me, the Victorian era in particular
While of course a majority of my edits end up being grammar checks, rewordings, and sourcing, one of the most relaxing things to me is translating an article. I can speak French ok, and I can sort of understand it if its spoken slow enough, I can read it very well, and translating French pages to English is extremely satisfying to me.
I study Latin, and find it, along with linguistics and etymology terribly fascinating.
If I'm going to read an article I'll usually read something about engineering, I like knowing how things work.
