Welcome to Wikipedia, 22ManzanaBoy! I'm PhoenixCaelestis, and I've been assigned as your mentor. All new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor chosen randomly from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here to get help from the wider community.

Atonality 2.0

Created a copy of the "Atonality" article in my sandbox. Anyone can contribute, and all sources are reliable here! Just wanted to see what would happen when people could use any source in a wiki article. 22ManzanaBoy (talk) 19:57, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

Your Wikiproject proposal

Hello. I responded to you at WT:ALBUMS, but I've since seen that you've mentioned it at...a lot...of Wikiprojects, and I wasn't sure how closely you were monitoring them all, so I figured I'd it may be better to message you directly.

No offense - I mean this in a nice way - but I'd recommend learning how Wikipedia works well before trying to take on the massive undertaking of creating a WikiProject. It's a big effort, and requires a deep knowledge of the website in order to do correctly. Case in point, WikiProjects are generally generally themed around a content area (music, video games, film) not tasks (like copy editing.)

And even many of the well-done ones fail, just out of a lack of participants/interest. We already have the WP:GOCE for general copy editing requests, and almost certainly some WikiProjects themed around the arts and architecture. I'd recommend contributing in those areas while you take the time to learn the ins and outs of the website. I'm afraid this venture is going to be a huge timesink that isn't going to work out otherwise. Sergecross73 msg me 16:44, 15 July 2025 (UTC)

Yeah, that was a lot of WikiProjects. Sometimes I forget to use common sense, especially when on Wikipedia. Even if I had the willpower to create this, it’s not the most practical way to handle this issue. 22ManzanaBoy (talk) 17:57, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
