- You may be able to reanimate dead citations using archive.org? (Let me know if that was what you meant and I will show you how to do it.)
- The sources you cite must be 'sound' - see WP:Reliable sources (which rules out WP:Blogs and WP:Self published materials).
- You are likely to get far better advice at Wikipedia:WikiProject UK Railways than I can give (my interest is in local geography and history).
