article on taxaation

taxation is the most crucial part of public finance litreture and surprisngly, i haven't found any article relating to it. Theory of taxation is the most important aspect and the starting point of pblic finance theory. I believe it is imperative, being a student of eonomics to give inputs and develop an article given my capabilities. since there exists no prior information relating to this topic, hence i would like to know, is it permissible to introduce this topic on wikipedia.
