The Wiktionary definition of Broadcasted states the use is sometimes proscribed, so it should not be used. The word also appears on Wikipedia:Lists_of_common_misspellings/B

Broadcasted appears in some dictionaries, but others, e.g. Chambers state "Sorry, no entries for Broadcasted were found".
Broadcast appears in all dictionaries, and should be used as COMMONALITY - "Wikipedia tries to find words that are common to all varieties of English".

A September 2026 search for Broadcast gave over 215,500 uses, compared with a search for Broadcasted which gave just 119.
Of these, 15 are redirects to "Broadcast" articles and 6 relate to a 1924 cartoon. The rest are in quotations or reference titles.

User:25 Cents FC you can try, and it will help explain the situation to readers, who very rarely read talk pages. But, in my experience, it won't stop edits during the process - many editors (like me) open the article on the edit page, fix the typo/whatever and save. - Arjayay (talk) 08:33, 20 August 2026 (UTC)

All international locations were filmed in Belarus by our company, we are the line producers in Belarus who have to be mentioned in the article. Filming in Paris was never done, all paris streets & scenes in the movie were filmed in Minsk,Belarus. ~2026-47762-25 (talk) 11:37, 5 September 2026 (UTC)
