Edit on Kontum Airfield
Hey, I reverted your edit on Kontum Airfield. I checked the listed source, which states the following on page 391 of the pdf: "On April 21, hostile gunners demonstrated the vulnerability of aircraft on the ground at Kontum City when they scored hits on an Air Vietnam transport, killing a flight attendant and wounding some of the passengers". However, you added some details that were not corroborated in the source material. Make sure you cite your sources - see WP:WHYCITE. If you have any questions, just reach out to me! - Hi, I understand that citing sources is important however in this situation my source is my father. So I am unsure how to cite that. The woman who was killed was my grandmother. She was not a flight attendant but an employee of Air Vietnam and her name was Nguyen thi Ngan Thanh. This is the first time I have heard the story of the passing of my grandmother and I would really like to include her name in the article. Do you know how I could cite a personal anecdote? - Ooh... that's tough. I'm not the most experienced Wikipedian, but I think in this situation, by WP:OR, you can't include that in a Wikipedia article, even if it's something you know it's true - because it's original research.
- A good place to get clarification is probably the Teahouse, a Wikipedia Q&A forum that exists to help editors. The folks there know what they're doing, I'd suggest you ask your question there. Qoiuoiuoiu (talk) 20:34, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
