Hello, BaulinEF. We welcome your contributions, but it appears as if your primary purpose on Wikipedia is to add citations to sources you may be affiliated with.
Editing in this way is a violation of the policy against using Wikipedia for promotion and is a form of conflict of interest. The editing community considers excessive self-citing to be a form of spamming on Wikipedia (WP:REFSPAM); the edits will be reviewed and the citations removed where it was not appropriate to add them.
If you wish to continue contributing, please first consider citing other reliable secondary sources such as review articles that were written by other researchers in your field and that are already highly cited in the literature. If you wish to cite sources for which you may have a conflict of interest, please start a new section on the article's talk page and add {{Edit COI}} to ask a volunteer to review whether or not the citation should be added.

See the advice page on large language models for more information.Rewrite properlyfour months ago because it contained clear LLM signs. I saw this draft's revision history: you did not do a rewrite, which means to write it again from the start. You only added and adjusted content. I still see the twice-used red links, which is a sign of LLM.

About Draft:International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines, Polish Academy of Sciences
I've heard you say that you did not use LLM, but you did translate it from Polish to English. It reads as though it came from a translator such as Google Translate or something similar, which are also considered LLM by Wikipedia. Your draft contains inconsistencies such as „ReMedy” instead of "ReMedy", ::.., … world.[15]. instead of … world.[15], a missing full stop, etc.
If you have used Google Translate or a similar technology, please disclose it. In fact, LLM translation is allowed so long as there is competent human oversight. You need to be able to correct any mistakes that a translator could make for use of one to be allowed. Thank you for listening. - Hi Brynn Who Likes Editing!
- Thank you! It seems you are the first user who actually read my explanatory comments.
- Yes, I translated this page from the Polish version, I did it sentence by sentence using Google Translate and ChatGPT as starting points and edited the text on the fly. While I curated the meaning of the translated sentences, I apparently missed many typographic issues specific to formatting, as I edited the Wikipedia source directly. Regarding the red links - those pages existed in Polish version, but the English versions do not exist. I was not sure how to handle it, so I left it as red links. Now I removed the red links completely. I now also fixed the quotation marks and missing full stops as you mentioned.
- In April the draft was declined for these issues and for 404-error references. The original references turned out to get outdated since the creation of the Polish version, so I fixed them, and polished the formatting as requested. Then, In August 7 the draft was declined due to no "reputable secondary published references" - I added at least six of those and extended the text further and resubmitted. 5 minutes after it was declined again, this time due to "non-neutral language". I interpreted it as an auto-detection of some keywords - and I thought it was due to having "prestigious" - which comes from the source actually. I removed this word and resubmitted.
- Please let me know where/how do I have to disclose the usage of LLMs for translation and what can I do next to make the draft suitable for resubmission? Thank you! BaulinEF (talk) 14:40, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
- You don't really have to disclose it anywhere else, I was just asking for you to disclose it here so discussion would be easier. You need to personally oversee any errors with the translation if there are any.
- You've mentioned someone closing your draft due to it being "non-neutral language". Well, Wikipedia says that you shouldn't use a set of words known as peacock words, which includes "prestigious". It's good that you removed that word, and as of now the draft looks pretty neutral in tone, which is good.
If some sources return 404 errors, you can try using the Internet Archive to search for the sources and find a backup from before it started resulting in 404s.It seems as though you've already done that.- The draft also got declined due to it being non-notable. Sometimes, editors might treat foreign-language sources as less reliable or worse, which is a bad practice. But also, I don't know what the sources are, so could you explain the websites you used as sources and how significant they are? (i.e. are they very popular Polish journalism sites, national news, trusted reviews, or are they not very well known?) In solidarity, Brynn Who Likes Editing | talk w/ me! 15:44, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
- 1) References 6 and 9 from "Forum Akademickie" (https://forumakademickie.pl/) - popular Polish magazine covering higher education and science news. Reference 6 provides in-depth coverage of IMol, reference 9 is rather short - a note on IMol's relocation to a new building.
- 2) References 3, 17, 22 from Nauka w Polsce (Science in Poland, https://scienceinpoland.pl/en) - another Polish magazine, from it's website: "Science in Poland (scienceinpoland.pap.pl) is the largest public information service devoted to Polish science. Available in both Polish and English, around two million readers visit the website every year." - Unfortunately, all three references are available in Polish only (only some articles come in two languages on the portal).
- 3) Reference 13 from "Przeglad" - a political and social weekly magazine in Poland (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Przegl%C4%85d)
- 4) Reference 12 from National Geographic Polska - I believe this one does not have to be explained, although the reference itself is more about the director of IMol, not IMol per se.
- I hope this clarifies the thing. BaulinEF (talk) 17:44, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
