On the subject of making changes "without adequately explaining why", please make sure that your edit summaries accurately describe what you are doing. Giving the edit summary "Fixed typo" with an edit which adds almost fifteen thousand characters to a page is not helpful. JBW (talk) 22:24, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
