Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Remsense 🌈 论 10:51, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Chiddingstone Causeway. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Abasteraster (talk) 11:04, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your user page may not meet Wikipedia's user page guidelines. It is intended for basic information about yourself, your interests and goals as they relate to editing Wikipedia, as well as disclosures of conflicts of interest and paid editing. Although a lot of freedom is allowed in personalizing your user page, it is not:
- an encyclopedia article (and should not be styled to look like one)
- a workspace for a draft article
- a personal website, blog, or social media site
- a space for self-promotion or other advertising
- a CV, resumé or lengthy autobiography
The user page guidelines have additional information on what is and what is not considered acceptable content. Please use your user sandbox or the draft article space to practice editing or to create new articles. Thank you. KylieTastic (talk) 09:18, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Morgan Winner at Le Mans bookcover.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Morgan Winner at Le Mans bookcover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 20:42, 1 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Richard Shepherd-Barron, from its old location at User:CSHEPB. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. KylieTastic (talk) 09:18, 2 September 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Magazine on 1959 UK Alpha Romeo racer Richard Shepherd-Barron.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Magazine on 1959 UK Alpha Romeo racer Richard Shepherd-Barron.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 11:26, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
Image license
Regarding File:1960 RSB Spa.JPG, you wrote "Image owned by Richard Shepherd-Barron, with permission granted to his son to upload for this wikipedia page." Although that sounds like a nice thing for him to do and a nice addition to this article, those terms are not free enough. For example, permission cannot be limited to use on certain pages. Instead, it must allow use on any page, and also on any other venue or medium, and even sold. You can require that credit be given, but you can't control who does what with it. Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries is one way to can make a declaration that meets the WP open-license requirements. DMacks (talk) 06:27, 5 September 2025 (UTC)
