This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for academics. The draft requires either:

evidence that the subject meets any of the specific criteria for academics;

or multiple published secondary sources that:

provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.

Please add references that meet these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

I am not seeing a criteria from WP:NACADEMIC that is met here. The h-index of 9 suggests that this subject is a couple of decades WP:TOOSOON, normally we are looking at 50 plus in this academic field.

Speedy deletion of Draft:Dr Wade F Petersen

The page Draft:Dr Wade F Petersen has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from https://royalsociety.org/science-events-and-lectures/2024/03/rising-star-africa-prize/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
