Hello, do you have any kind of professional relationship with Draft:Peach Truck Hijackers? You're allowed to btw, it's not forbidden. You just need to openly disclose that you have a relationship if you do. grapesurgeon (talk) 20:24, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hello! I was wondering what a professional relationship meant. I interviewed them once, but neither of us made money from this interview. They have also played at other events that I've photographed, but again those were situations that didn't involve money.
- Do you feel like I should disclose something? Thank you for the guidance! Cmm127 (talk) 23:44, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
- Ah I see; I was wondering because of the photo you uploaded of them. When a VRTS request is made it's usually because someone has been in personal contact with an article subject. Did you maybe receive copyright permission from the magazine instead?
- Either way, if your description of the situation is accurate, you have a minor WP:COI with the band, but imo nothing worth significant disclosure of. The article doesn't read like an effort to promote them or anything, so should be fine. This talk page discussion being on the record should be enough I think. grapesurgeon (talk) 01:19, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
- Ah I see thank you for clarifying the situation, I think I will make a COI tag on my user page just to be clear for future articles since I work with musicians a lot.
- In regards to that magazine, I am the copyright owner of the photo. We are a small independent magazine (I was the sole photographer until just recently). I am in talks with the VRT now to clear everything up. Cmm127 (talk) 01:53, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
