Hi Coe-pjb! I'm YuniToumei. I came across your edits while patrolling new pages, and noticed that you published some rather large articles in quick succession. After looking at them in more detail, I noticed some signs of AI/LLM-writing. I just wanted to quickly clarify, are you using LLMs such as ChatGPT or Claude to write articles? - Hi YuniToumei. Thanks for getting in touch. The articles reflect research and reading I have been doing over several months on the related topics of theology and apartheid, building on work I did some years ago on the profile of Albert Geyser (sources are noted in all of the articles). I identified and reviewed the sources, selected the material to include, and checked the facts and citations before publishing. Much of this work was sitting in an MS Word doc I was using as a working document, so I did use ChatGPT for copyediting and to help with Wikipedia syntax as a drafting and editing aid. I have subsequently spent some time verifying, reviewing and revising the text against the original sources. I thought it would be more efficient to batch all of the articles and publish them once they were ready. I hope this is OK? I would appreciate any guidance on whether particular articles should be moved back to draft space or whether there are specific passages you think need urgent attention. It has taken considerable work to research the topic, and I want to make sure that the resulting articles meet Wikipedia’s standards. Thanks again for raising this directly. - Thanks for the reply! That's good to hear :) There is an important guideline, WP:LLM, that outlines to what extent LLMs may be used. It is intentionally restrictive: only basic copyedits like for spelling or grammar are allowed. Please be careful when using LLMs for that purpose, as they may inadvertedly introduce new content or alter it such that the sources no longer support the information. Thanks again for your work!
