Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lucius, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Lucius Postumius Megellus and Lucius Caecilius Metellus. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

2024 Oceania Athletics Championships moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to 2024 Oceania Athletics Championships. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 15:21, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

It's a proposed event, of course, for which that page did have a source, the host organisation's webpage, albeit just a url-link. The significant thing is the event has an application or registration deadline 2 months beforehand. That is significant information. Craigmac41 (talk) 00:45, 4 March 2024 (UTC)

Stop icon You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.

Important points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.

You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. Egyptiankeng (talk) 05:41, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Egyptiankeng (talk) 06:27, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Yep, you're a bombastic, arrogant jerk. A bully. Craigmac41 (talk) 06:32, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
The "Opening postponed" subsection of the Grand Egyptian Museum Wikipedia page is a mess of combined poor syntax and speculative phraseology, if not outright speculation. And it detracts from the much more significant information about the museum.
A principle feature of this scenario is your sense of ownership of that Wikipedia page and an associated sense of entitlement to control it and anyone who might try to edit it. Craigmac41 (talk) 06:57, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
Over the course of two days, I spent 6-7 hours each editing this nonsense that is supposed to be called a Wikipedia page. An article that is half about museum design and an information box dedicated to buildings and not museums, etc. Why didn't you edit the article at that time? When someone like me comes along and spends all this time laying a solid foundation for an article that can be built upon and improved, you treat him like this and accuse him of these baseless accusations? It's strange that many Wikipedia editors only appear after the hard work is done, to completely remove it and return it to nonsense. Wikipedia is not a newspaper for you to hold me accountable for spelling mistakes. Wikipedia is a collaborative community. If you see a mistake, you improve it, not go to the editor and reprimand him thinking you are his boss. If you see a bad source, look for a good source, etc. Be helpful instead of spreading toxicity. Egyptiankeng (talk) 08:39, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
I was seeking to improve that Wikipedia page. The fact that I hadn't edited when you were doing what you clearly think was heroic editing is beside the point. You're attempting to rewrite history and gaslight me. A principal issue here is that we were both editing at the same time. As is your arrogance in using that to falsely and aggressively accuse me in the first instance of an editing war. It's you who's spreading toxicity, you hypocritical clown. You're illogical and irrational with an elevated sense of self and an elevated sense of entitlement, y.s. Craigmac41 (talk) 09:41, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Personal insults

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. In particular, you've shown a pattern of engaging in insulting, dismissive behavior that is categorically incompatible with editing here. I should think after being on this project for 17 years you would know this by now. These sorts of edits; are utterly unacceptable. Further, such insults have no bearing on the person you are attempting to insult, but instead reflect upon you and undermine whatever position it is you attempt to make. If you conduct such personal insults again, you will be blocked. Consider this a final warning. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:22, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Those aren't edits, they're comments Craigmac41 (talk) 01:09, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
Whether you prefer to call them comments or edits is irrelevant. The warning stands. --Hammersoft (talk) 01:13, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
They're pushback against misrepresentation about my contributions or attempted contributions to Wikipedia (albeit overt pushback). And you contribute to such misrepresentation. Your use of hammer in your user name is appropriate (and adding soft to hammer doesn't actually soften your hardness). I'm done. Craigmac41 (talk) 01:18, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
Calling them "pushback" does not change the nature of them. They're insults, pure and simple. The warning stands. --Hammersoft (talk) 01:48, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
