Redundant categories

You are adding unnecessary categories to many pages. For example, if a page is in the Spanish variants category, it's redundant to add the Spanish language category, as Spanish variants already is a subcategory of it. Please undo those categorizations. --Jotamar (talk) 23:38, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi Danoasis - Sorry to "pile on" here, but I wanted to let you know that I've just gone through those same sub-cats and removed Category:Americas from all of them as it was redundant to Category:American Spanish and had created a lot of unhelpful clutter. I hope you've gotten the idea on how this works! Regards, Cgingold (talk) 12:44, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

Image

The image corresponds the selection Polo of Chile, please do not delete the photos for fun this is considered vandalism and may be blocked. Since there is no justification or argument for the removal of the image, restore her again, if you want to argue something, use the article talk page. Thank you. Ccrazymann (talk) 05:14, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

And that selection is famous or something? I didn't delete the image "for fun" as you've said, and I've given an argument, those girls ARE NOT renowned, see the other pictures and you will notice that every single image is of someone well-known.--Danoasis (talk) 07:16, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Content dispute

To stop the ongoing edit war at White Latin American, I have temporarily protected the page. Please discuss your point of view here, and remember to stay calm and civil. If, after three days, you feel you are unable to compromise, you may seek dispute resolution. Anyone continuing the edit war after the page protection ends will be blocked immediately. Oasis!

Brother, thanks for your support on the Oasis box template. It was so uncomfortable to look at the previous format. Feel free to add more to the categories, and if everybody is OK, I think it's fine to add some more people related with the Band, like those of the people who quite notably contribute in their albums/concerts. Live forever! Cheers, Christian Liberty (talk) 21:19, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Oasis Line Up

Hi how are you doing tonight ?. Can you help me please ?. Can you remove Joey Waronker as an official member from the bands infobox and the Current Member section on their page please ?. He is a touring musician to be honest. There is this one editor SamuelD he is driving everyone mad on the page by changing the line up with no sources and dates and other stuff. Kind Regards 92.251.150.148 (talk) 22:25, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I can't do that without reaching a proper consensus. Some people want to believe he's an official member but that's debatable since there's not enough sources to prove or deny his real status in the band. I'll say use the Talk:Oasis_(band) for now.
Also if you want you can give your opinion about Oasis years active in the Talk page since a couple of users want to change it to "2025-present" which is not correct at all . Cheers! Danoasis (talk) 23:01, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Oasis Discography

Hi Dan how are you doing ?. Someone has added Slide Away Live to the bands singles releases this should not be in there. Can you remove it please ? I would do it myself but the page is auto protected. Also Dan can you please remove the UK Chart position for Morning Glory someone has it down as being placed as number 147 it should be replaced by dash as it was not released in the UK. Oasis had a well documented 22 consecutive top 40 hits which is recognised by the official charts. Thank you very much 92.251.145.70 (talk) 21:14, 14 July 2025 (UTC)

Done. Also I suggest you create an account. Cheers. Danoasis (talk) 23:52, 14 July 2025 (UTC)

Oasis page vandalism by editor SamuelDJ12

Hi the above editor is back again and keeps changing the band line up even though he has been asked by numerous editors to leave this for official confirmation. Can we seek a ban to stop him this is getting very annoying now. it is persistent vandalism. I have also contacted Mewhen123 to let them know. Regards 92.251.145.70 (talk) 22:00, 14 July 2025 (UTC)

Oasis Discography

Hi Danoasis how are you today ? I think someone will add the 147 position for Morning Glory again unless you remove the 147 position from the added note that is accompanying the single or another option I think is possible we remove Champagne Supernova, Morning Glory and Don't Go Away and place them in the "other charted and certified singles" section, this would be another way of solving the problem ? Do you agree will you tell me what you think please ? 92.251.131.63 (talk) 13:26, 2 August 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hi Danoasis! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Oasis (band) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Oasis (band), please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. (CC) Tbhotch 01:02, 10 August 2025 (UTC)

I'm well aware of it. Thanks. We've been using the Oasis's Talk page for some questionable editions lately. Danoasis (talk) 01:19, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
