Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Faryion Wardrip when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Hello! Thank you very much for your extensive work on List of death row inmates in the United States who have exhausted their appeals. I was surprised to learn how recently this article was created, and by all accounts it looks top-notch. A very valuable resource. Glad Tidings from New York (talk) 20:25, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

You're very welcome. Dashing24 (talk) 21:52, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

Execution date of Charles Lee Burton, AL

Hello Dashing 24, if I'm not mistaken it was you who added Charles Lee Burton to the list of scheduled executions in the US? It's in the list only saying February without a certain day. As far as I know a date hasn't been set yet - why do you think it's to be expected for February? I can't find anything confirming this. Just curious. Greetings! Karla Karla Faye Tucker (talk) 21:01, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

Under Alabama law, an execution date, set by the Governor, falls 30 days or more after the Alabama Supreme Court enters a warrant authorizing the execution. Since the warrant was issued, it's standard for the date to be listed as the month in which the 30 days falls. I didn't start this convention. Dashing24 (talk) 21:36, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
Ah, I see. So, it's not a scheduled date, indeed, but a possible or expected one. Thank you for your quick reply! Karla Faye Tucker (talk) 05:57, 2 February 2026 (UTC)

Alabama execution methods

Hi @Dashing24. I noticed you added Jeffrey Lee to the list of pending requests to set an execution date in the page “List of death row inmates in the United States who have exhausted their appeals”. The edit states that Lee selected nitrogen hypoxia as the method of execution. I’m just wondering how you were able to find that out, as I have not been successful in finding sources or court records stating that.

Much appreciated,

Jeffrey Lee is a plaintiff in a lawsuit against nitrogen hypoxia. It's also referenced in the state's motion (on their portal search "nitrogen hypoxia"). Dashing24 (talk) 17:29, 11 February 2026 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Capital punishment in Texas, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mark White was added.
