Never hesitate to say whats on your mind. I always try my best to understand others.
Does that mean....
Hey there Dream Focus, I recently nominated the article for Kelly Metzger for deletion, in which you pointed out why it should stay. I can't argue, so I hope the article stays now haha. Now, what I wanted to tell you was,
Firstly, I only nominated the article for deletion because, earlier I had made an article on Jillian Michaels, a voice actress who had voiced Lloyd in Ninjago, (Metzger voiced Nya in Ninjago) but the article got deleted. Could you check the discussion, because no one brought up what you brought up. Luckily, I had saved the draft of the article before I published it. Could you check it out and see whether its okay and I can publish it again?
Also, since I'm leaving a message for you, I'm planning on submitting an application to become a reviewer on Wikipedia. Could you check my stats (xtools, pages made, logs, afd, contributions) and tell me if you think my work and experience could get my application to be a reviewer accepted? Awaiting your response, MKsLifeInANutshell (talk) 12:18, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
- Whether people follow the rules or not, depends on whatever random people show up to comment. Perfectly valid articles get deleted all the time. Even if an article is saved, the same people can just keep trying until they get what they want. I mass exported a lot of articles to https://manga.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Page years ago to save them. You can post your article there and it'll be safe. As more things are deleted from Wikipedia, more people just look to the fandoms to find what they are looking for. well that's a relief
I know we don't see eye-to-eye on some things but I wouldn't have expected that sort of thing from you and I'm relieved to see it was apparently just an error. List of kosher restaurants is actually a much better list article. Just Step Sideways from this world ..... today 01:30, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
- I clicked on one of the links at list of kosher supermarkets, went to that article, then looked it over and clicked on the wrong category there by mistake. Then I added things from that category by accident. Dream Focus 06:56, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
May music
Today's story mentions a concert I loved to hear (DYK) and a piece I loved to sing in choir, 150 years old (OTD). Thank you, inclusionist who is almost always right, for your "keep" for the baritone's soprano colleague! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:24, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
Today's story is about Samuel Kummer, one of five items on the Main page - more musing on my talk --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:55, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not really interested in this sort of thing so don't send me any more Today's Story things. Dream Focus 04:32, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

Request for Assistance with Davi Santiago de Souza's Encyclopedia Entry
Dear Dream Focus,
I hope you're doing well. I’m seeking your expertise in adapting an encyclopedia entry I’ve written about Davi Santiago de Souza (Sr. Davi) from Portuguese to English. While I’ve completed the content, I recognize your skill and would greatly appreciate your help in refining it.
Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to your response. Enzo Duart (talk) 16:52, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
Do you have an interest in DOGE's released documents?
Hey Dream Focus! I saw your edits related to the Department of Government Efficiency and I wanted to see if you had any interest in seeing/working with the documents released by DOGE? Wikisource, one of the other projects from the Wikimedia Foundation, and a sister project to Wikipedia, has a newly-created WikiProject DOGE, which has the goal to transcribe all of the documents released by DOGE, so they are easily readable to others and searchable on Google and other search engines.
Wikisource is not Wikipedia, in terms of there is no articles to create. Wikisource is just a place where public-domain/free-to-use texts are transcribed onto. Those can be subsequently linked to a Wikipedia article.
Well, if you are interested, feel free to let join the WikiProject over on Wikisource or if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Cheers! The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 16:58, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of List of fire departments in the United States

The article List of fire departments in the United States has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This is an entirely unsourced page whose material is best served by being added to the specific localities of those departments, or at the very least, to a statewide page. It is also an orphan. I was surprised to see it, given that I thought that the statewide fire department pages were already in bad shape.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Lionel Richie
On List of best-selling music artists he sold 90 millions record not 100 อีนุ้ยใจสตอ (talk) 18:11, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- The reference in the article reads In a career that began in the mid-1960s when his R&B group, the Commodores were first formed, Lionel has since amassed album sales of more than 100 million.
- So the bestseller chart is when he went solo, while his article mentions his career before that as well. Also on today's episode of Joe Rogan that is interviewed it claims "He has sold more than 125 million albums worldwide". Probably a more accurate number. Hopefully someone will sort this out. 2025-12 Bibliography of books critical of Islam
Hello,
As of today, the clean up of Bibliography of books critical of Islam formerly Bibliography of Eurabia that you proposed six years ago in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bibliography of books critical of Islam was not fully done, and this garbage article has been copied in 2 other editions of Wikipedia. Imagine Bibliography of books critical of Judaism including/mentioning/listing The Protocols of the Elders of Zion and Henry Ford and the Jews: The Mass Production of Hate. - Every video game article has a picture of the game's box cover in the infobox. Replacing with a poster someone who never played the game made, it showing a picture of a lion when there are no lions in the game at all, is ridiculous. I have undone your edit. Dream Focus 20:06, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- It is the North American arcade flyer of the game that can be verified to have been released by Taito America. The arcade version is the centerpoint of discussion of the article, so images should clearly reflect this. I guess the Atari box art being used in the Ports section could work. Go D. Usopp (talk) 02:08, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- Even if I were to keep the Atari 2600 version's identifying image, I would rather use the actual box art instead of the manual, which is derivative and a separate item in general. Go D. Usopp (talk) 02:13, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- The picture is the same for the box and the manual, as well as the sticker on the cartridge. The American division may have published the image of the lion before knowing more about the game, the game originally called Jungle King, and the lion is said to be king of the jungle. Such mistakes happened. No lions in the game or on the arcade cabinet or any boxes for any versions of the game. Game articles almost always have an image of the game box in the infobox, not some localized ad flier. Dream Focus 06:48, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- Flyers are used for arcade video games as identifying art. Regardless of how much better and accurate the art is in other platforms to the game, we use art of the first English release of the first released lead platform available, as the lead platform's version is usually the main focus of the article. Go D. Usopp (talk) 07:07, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
- I replaced it with another flyer from the American arcade game which isn't as ugly. My main concern was how ugly and stupid it looked to have a lion image when there are no lions in the game. This new flyer shows the game itself. Dream Focus 10:29, 15 February 2026 (UTC)
