Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Scotty Le Edler, from its old location at User:Edman197/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. - RichT|C|E-Mail 00:47, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Scotty Le Edler (June 28)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Rich Smith was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
WP:BLP says that '...any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source.'. There are massive chunks, namely in Biography and Academic Career, missing any source whatsoever.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

I see that I was declined for not having footnotes. I have 16 footnotes listed with inline numbers in the text.

Could I get a little better explanation as to what is the issue with the citation problems. I am a professional academic (history and government professor) who is trained in Chicago Manual of Style/Turabian and APA. I feel as though I am following the citation method on other Wikipedia pages.
