Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 22:11, 5 April 2024 (UTC)

Most of the "copyright violations" were from the plot summary on the German Wikipedia page.
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Der_Hexer_(1964)
I translated it, revised (as I was watching the movie) and put it on the English one.
If you have issues with copyright take it up with them. Ee100duna (talk) 04:36, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
That was my mistake, I apologize for the scare and you did not do anything wrong in terms of copyright. It turns out that the description you translated over predate the website that used similar wording and it looks like the website actually copied the German wikipedia page. In the future, it may be helpful to note in your edit summary that you are translating information from another wiki so that someone like me knows to check that wiki first.
Thanks for letting me know and happy editing. IntentionallyDense (Contribs) 04:48, 2 January 2026 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Cove (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page High-definition. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
