Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gibbs measure, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Free energy. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Microtones

I don't know how to cite this, but it is easy to confirm yourself. If you try playing a midi version of the song (midi has no microtones), and playing the original at the same time, it is easily heard to be out of tune. Furthermore, multiple reddit posts confirm this

https://www.reddit.com/r/Undertale/comments/3p6jf1/what_key_is_the_song_asgore_in/

https://www.reddit.com/r/Undertale/comments/40q46b/why_is_asgore_out_of_tune/?

The same thing is also noticed by a professional music composer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPx6t-o8xko

There do not seem to be explicit studies or disclosures from the author (Toby Fox) but this is easily verifiable.

Watched the video. Not convinced the tune is microtonal. Seems like the usual 12-note scale in a non A440 pitch standard. Look at the 4:38 timestamp: the presenter adjusts the A4 pitch to 450 Hz and has no problem matching the pitches in the tune for the rest of the video. Eigenbra (talk) 01:48, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
I do not see your point. If after changing the tuning, there are no problems with matching pitches, that means it was correct, and there was a quarter tone. Many DAW instruments only need one pitch to tune the instrument, like his piano plugin or LMMS instruments where you choose the "root" note. Because of this, he did not need to change every note, the program calculates all other pitches based on the root note (A4) frequency given.

Here, piano is detuned one quarter tone down:
Leomathguy (talk) 19:59, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
It means none of the intervals are microtonal. Microtonality is about intervals, not pitches. I will not discuss this further. Use the article talk page if you still disagree. Eigenbra (talk) 21:34, 4 September 2023 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rationalist community, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The New Atlantis. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. User:Slomo666 (talk) 11:45, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

Hello, just a small head-up. Someone sent this to me and I thought it might be useful for you. Slomo666 (talk) 11:06, 14 October 2025 (UTC)

Dynamite

I didn't notice it was that many editors. I was referring to this. It breaks NPOV, cites only 3 sources, and is loaded to a frustrating degree with external links not formatted right. I had a problem with it back then, and coming back to the page to discover NOTHING was done with it made me mad. Imagine if every page had a external link just out in the open left alone for a month. Thanks for the explanation. I believe this edit achieves what you were looking to do, right? Eigenbra (talk) 19:20, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Yes, thank you. Sorry if I got a bit heated @Eigenbra. Double apologies for the late reply; school got out on a 4-day weekend. Babysharkb☩ss2 I am Thou, Thou art I 13:51, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for helping out with the sidebar! Your improvements have been incredibly helpful.

One small note is that we had a debate over this previously, and there was consensus that we do not create multiple different links to different sections of the same article in the same sidebar, so no two links should be to the same article. Just letting you know going forward! Keep up the editing :) Alexandraaaacs1989 (talk) 06:57, 19 March 2026 (UTC)
