Need some ideas about what kind of things need doing? Try the "Suggested edits" module top left on your homepage, or the Task Center. Based on your contributions, you might want to consider joining WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors.

Help is available: as your Mentor, you can always find me listed in the "Get editing help" module bottom right on your homepage; there are also additional help links there. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or try the Wikipedia:Teahouse to get help designed especially for new users from a team of experienced volunteers. Des de Moor

I notice you have inserted a date of death for this individual. What is the reliable source for this precise detail ? Thanks. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 20:14, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi, my apologies. I did not realize there were no reliable sources for the date of death of this person. I am a new editor, so thank you for pointing out my mistake! Electronmore (talk) 12:20, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
Fair enough, but it is a hard lesson for you moving forward. If you, or anyone else for that matter, wishes to introduce text in any article, make sure there is attached a reliable source, giving that info. This is covered at WP:V. Happy editing. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 13:34, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
Got it. But interestingly, there is also no reliable source for stating that his death happened in February. Is this also a problem? Electronmore (talk) 18:56, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
Reference number one (that authored by Protz) starts by stating "Des de Moor, who died this month, was a phenomenon". That is good enough to determine that de Moor's death took place in February. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 14:38, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
Oh, got it! Electronmore (talk) 14:53, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Please be more careful when adding wikilink to an article, even when recommended by the link suggestion feature. I've removed a number of wikilinks that you had added to articles because the target articles were not correct in context. Check the target articles to make sure that you are directing the reader to an appropriate article. Schazjmd (talk) 18:36, 12 March 2026 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I will be more careful when inserting wikilinks later. Electronmore (talk) 19:52, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
In your first edit after this comment, you added a wikilink to The Sketch to the text In view of this, Delieuvin stated in 2017 that the sketch and other copies... in Vincent Delieuvin. The Sketch was a British journal. It has nothing to do with the words "the sketch" in that sentence. Stop adding incorrect wikilinks. Schazjmd (talk) 22:18, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
Hello. I'm sorry. Very sorry. I tried to be more careful but still slipped up, thinking that it was the correct link. I promise that I'm not trying to add incorrect wikilinks. My future edits after your comment have been more carefully checked, and I have declined multiple suggestions, as they don't fit the link. Once again, my apologies. Electronmore (talk) 22:38, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
If the capitalization in the suggested link is different from the article text (such as in your edit here), it's likely not a good link. If the suggested link is for a portion of a name rather than the full name (such as in your edit here), it's likely not a good link. And when it suggests a link to a full name (such as in your edit here), you have to check that the target article is the correct person or movie or whatever. You might find it useful to read WP:Wikilinks to get an idea of when it's helpful to the reader to provide a wikilink. The software that suggests links just does text matching. Schazjmd (talk) 22:54, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for the helpful information. I will be more careful when adding wikilinks. Electronmore (talk) 20:45, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
