Hi! Thank you for all the dash edits; it's good work and it's nice to see more articles compliant with the study guide. I have a small request: when you're fixing multiple dashes in the same article, if it would be possible to fix them all in the same edit (as opposed to one dash per edit), that would make page histories a bit easier to read. To recapitulate the above request, when you're fixing multiple dashes in the same article, please fix them all in the same edit. Fixing them one at a time clutters the edit histories. – Epipelagic (talk) 04:45, 25 January 2025 (UTC)

@EvanBaldonado: You can install and use a script to change hyphens into en dashes with just one click. Create User:EvanBaldonado/common.js with just importScript('User:Ohconfucius/dashes.js'); as the text. You should then see a new button on the right-side tool bar that says "–". @Yue Oh, that's excellent! I was able to further reduce the number of edits per page after the other message above, but it's still a hassle to often have to edit multiple times per page. Thanks for sharing—I will check it out soon :) EvanBaldonado (talk) 01:35, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

@EvanBaldonado: Let me know if you have any trouble "installing" it, but to be clear that tool contains all the changes in one edit. You have to be careful though because sometimes it will change hyphens that are not meant to be dashes (e.g. hyphens in scripts) and will sometimes cause errors.
