Christian Science
Hi, thanks for introducing yourself and explaining that you work for The First Church of Christ, Scientist. We have a policy on paid editing, WP:PAID, that you should look at, and a guideline on conflict of interest, WP:COI. In brief, you should state on your user page that you're a paid editor in relation to Christian Science, which you have done. You should also make it clear the first time you post on related talk pages.
Please don't edit affected articles directly. If you'd like to suggest an edit, you can post this template — {{request edit}} — on the talk page and make your request underneath it (see WP:PE). You can also ask for help at the conflict of interest noticeboard, or at the WP:TEAHOUSE, which is for new editors. I'll post a welcome template below that has some other useful links. - Many thanks for your message, which includes lots of helpful resources that I will be delving into over the next several days. I also appreciate your clear communication of expectations concerning my COI, which I will be honoring as a matter of personal and professional integrity. --FirsthandPOV-CCS (talk) 16:19, 19 August 2019 (UTC)

John Dillin - obituary
Hello @FirsthandPOV-CCS - unsolicited question for you, by all means bounce me to another CCS editor if appropriate. I see the CSM has a very rare obituary, dedicated to your previous managing editor John Dillin. He had a very interesting career, particularly in respect of Vietnam, so I have been trying to find out reliable sourcing for a potential article. Not easy! Ideally I am looking for a fully independent reliable source obituary somewhere else but not much is coming up since he wrote mostly in the pre-Internet era. I can see a lot of material for his life offline, so that's more-or-less OK for me, but bringing the full life story is harder. The CSM version has some value but it's more an appreciation than much about his life. Do you know of any obituaries elsewhere about him? ChrysGalley (talk) 09:28, 26 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hello. Sorry for the delayed response. I've been away from Wiki message for a while, with a house move, etc. I'm afraid I do not have additional sources on John Dillin. Hoping you found some elsewhere. FirsthandPOV-CCS (talk) 23:23, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know @FirsthandPOV-CCS - I will see if I can contact one of his former colleagues. ChrysGalley (talk) 23:28, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
