To do this you'll need to put "<ref>" first then you'll need to use a template like Cite News or Cite Web, after using the template put "<ref>" again but with a slash infront of the word "ref" but after the "<". Hi, it's so good to have you here to guide me on this wikipedia editing journey. I have a very specific question here. We have a page on Wikipedia about Dr. Joseph Murphy (writer) who's written over 30 books. But the page does not have his photo. I want to update his photo there on his page. How do I do it? Hey there! To upload a photo you upload it on Wikimedia Commons, best way to do so is on computer. The upload wizard can be accessed here. But my advise is before uploading an image, see if there is any Creative Commons Licensing, or if there is a copyright on it. Public Domain images and certain Creative Commons Licences can be uploaded to Wikipedia. But, if you are unsure how to find a copyright on a file, don't upload it. Its best to assume images you don't know for sure if they are free to use, to assume they aren't. You can also upload images from Flikr.
