Hello, I'm Alith Anar. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Vehicle fire, but the source cited did not support that content. It has been removed for now, but if you would like to include a citation that verifies the content and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Alith Anar 14:09, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Vehicle fire. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Alith Anar 14:22, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

- I'm sorry about that. Gari.04 (talk) 12:41, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- It's not a promotional content Gari.04 (talk) 11:16, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- why was it removed again? Gari.04 (talk) 11:16, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- I propose adding a sourced paragraph on the use of automatic fire suppression systems in vehicles to improve technical accuracy and regulatory context (citing NFPA 2001, ISO 17840, FIA regulations). I would like to include one reference to an external technical article that summarizes these regulatory frameworks in a neutral, educational manner. It is not a commercial link but a supporting source for fire suppression mechanisms in vehicles. Gari.04 (talk) 11:19, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- The content was removed because you added again after being warned here at your talk page and here that it was inappropriate promotional content. Here and over there you said you understood then re-added the links anyway, I'm not sure what you expected would happen. Oblivy (talk) 11:41, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Gari.04 Do not add links to safetycarlabs.com anywhere in the encyclopedia without first obtaining talk page consensus. If you do so again, you will be blocked from editing. This should be understood as a Final

- Thank you for the clarification. I understand the concern about external links and will not add any links to safetycarlabs.com or related domains without first seeking talk page consensus. My intent was to contribute technical and factual information about vehicle fire suppression systems, not to promote any product or company.
- I’ll make sure future edits comply fully with Wikipedia’s guidelines on reliable sources. Gari.04 (talk) 15:31, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

Proposal to include supporting technical reference
I recently expanded this article with neutral, verifiable information about automatic fire suppression systems, including their mechanism, engineering role, and relevant standards (NFPA 2001, ISO 17840, FIA regulations). All content is written to comply with Wikipedia’s neutral point of view and is supported by third-party standards and publications.
I’d like to request consensus to include one supporting external reference to a technical overview article published at https://safetycarlabs.com/automatic-fire-suppression-system-for-cars/. This page explains Automatic Fire Suppression System in automotive applications and cites NFPA, ISO, and FIA standards. I am not affiliated with any sales activity, and the article does not promote products or services. The goal is to improve technical completeness and provide readers with a neutral, standards-based explanation of automatic fire suppression technology in vehicles.
If editors believe the content can be cited differently, I’m happy to follow that approach. Gari.04 (talk) 15:36, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
- Note that talk page consensus requires raising this at the talk page for the article; pasting this into your talk page is unlikely to result in anything resembling consensus. It may be more productive for you to search for other ways to cite this content, rather than repeatedly attempting to get a link to this particular site into Wikipedia.
