Information icon Hello, I'm Plasticwonder. I noticed that you recently removed content from Joey Aguilar without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Sorry about that. It's just that Aguilar played in all four years on his high school football team, but only statistics are available for his junior and senior years. So, I thought it would be misleading to keep the table showing only statistics from two of his years played instead of all four. Maybe I am mistaken in my logic. Thanks! GigglyGoose (talk) 02:55, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
I wouldn't be opposed to you reverting my edit. Good luck :) Plasticwonder (talk) 03:11, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: IRacing Studios (August 7)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Jovanmilic97 was:

IRacing Studios moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, IRacing Studios, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Mason Phillips

Hello GigglyGoose,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mason Phillips for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Helpful advice

I can see that you've run into some problems while trying to get content added to Wikipedia. For many reasons there are various policies and guidelines that must be followed, and you are currently running afoul of those, presumably in good faith, innocently ignorant of these. It can be a frustrating experience, but let me point you to WP:YFA for advise on getting started, and please go through these steps carefully as attempting to just get-around the system will result in many of your efforts being uncerimoniously deleted and/or undone. If you encounter any specific questions, please feel free to ask. With regards to your recently deleted article, you can request a WP:REFUND from the deleting administrator if you believe the person meets WP:NBLP requirements. Cheers. Sorry if I've done something wrong. Do you mind telling me what I have messed up on so that I don't do it in the future? GigglyGoose (talk) 13:37, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
It looks like you created an article for Mason Phillips and it was nominated for deletion by another editor on here, and a volunteer administrator agreed and deleted that article. Their rational is that it did not pass the notability requirements for inclusion in an encyclopedia. Wikipedia does not include an article on everyone, but rather, only those which pass the notability guidelines. For articles about people, please see WP:NBLP for the relevant guidelines. Since the article is now deleted, I have no way to see what the actual problem was. However, as mentioned, please see WP:YFA which has helpful information, including a section titled "Before you start writing" -- as there are steps you should take to avoid spending time on something that doesn't have any chance of being included. After you review both WP:NBLP and WP:YFA, if you still have questions, please ask. TiggerJay (talk) 14:01, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
Oh ok. You mentioned in your first comment that I can request a WP:REFUND from the deleting administrator. Is it possible to request the deleted article be turned into a draft so that it can be iterated on and possibly become qualified to be an article in the future? GigglyGoose (talk) 14:11, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
Yes, all of those links (usually blue) that start with WP are all links to articles. If you click on WP:REFUND simply follow the directions there, I cannot do it for you. TiggerJay (talk) 14:20, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
Yes I know that. I think you misunderstood what I said. I was just asking if I can request that the deleted article be turned into a draft, not about the link to WP:REFUND. I see that it states you can do that, but thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. GigglyGoose (talk) 14:48, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
