My apologies
I have to apologize for reverting your edits regarding the infobox images. I was doing so on mobile and the images in infoboxes do not properly update on there. Jon698 (talk) 18:16, 12 June 2025 (UTC)

List of presidents of the United States
Regarding the above referenced article, you are correct that no consensus has been made to change the images in the first place and per the invisible note under the Presidents section "DO NOT CHANGE ANY PRESIDENTIAL PORTRAITS WITHOUT FIRST PROPOSING ON TALK PAGE AND SEEKING CONSENSUS - PER RfC 04/2018 (see archive pg 12)." So, please discuss any proposed changes on the talk page first and let me know if you have any questions. Assadzadeh (talk) 17:02, 2 July 2025 (UTC)

- Got there in the end! I can also highly recommend using the show changes and show preview buttons so that you can make multiple changes before finally publishing. This makes for a less cluttered list of changes in the page history. -- 92.21.137.132 (talk) 15:05, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Asking for Thoughts on an Article
Hello. I was wondering if you could give me your thoughts on the article that I'm setting up, Endorsements in the 1976 Democratic presidential primaries. I'm experimenting with the Endorsement Boxes, specifically in the Jimmy Carter section at the moment; I wanted to see how the lists would be like broken into smaller lists specific to their area, when they were in columns of different widths, and if I had a Box within a Box (for Former Office-holders). I don't want to proceed any farther with the Article until a format is decided given, if I were to go and adopt any of the changes, I'd have to convert everything additional. In the past I would ask within one of the old WikiGroups but, well, they seem to have fallen on the wayside over the last decade. If not, do you know who I might be able to reach out too? - Hi. I do like the sound of your suggestions so far, as it seems to make the layout more orderly. But, I’d instead highly advise you to seek someone else who knows very well about clearer formatting, I’m frankly not one. Or, the article’s talk page, and see how much attention it gets. Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Wikipedia research
Hello I'm a student from LUISS university in Rome and I'm working on a presentation based on wikipedia's crowdsourcing process and one part of the work is to put myself in the shoes of a wikipedia contributor and find out some feeling he receives when editing or writing pages. The questions I would like to receive answers on are the following:
- What does the editor think and feel:
- What does the editor say and do:
- What does the editor hear and see (about its surroundings):
- What are his pains (what type of frustration does the user feel when contributing):
- What are his gains (what does make him feel good when contributing):
Active support is really needed so thanks in advance and have a great day Tartaluca (talk) 14:44, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:50, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
