Misleading edit-summaries and spam

Could you please stop using misleading edit-summaries ("adding links," "adding spaces"), and stop WP:SPAMming Anomadassi? Take this as a warning. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 04:07, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

Second opinion

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for help regarding edits of Joshua Jonathan on 27th October 2025. I like you to go through the edits and see whether they are valid. I also have concerns about (WP:HOUNDING).

I feel like I could be biased so that's why I like a second opinion without being directly involved in the matter. Also I don't know what to do in this situation.

I really don't like to undo anyone's edits so if you can give some help or opinion that would be appreciated. Thank you. Himadu Sirimanna (talk) 08:00, 28 October 2025 (UTC)

Sorry, but that's not really how it works... I won't, and I doubt anyone would, go through someone's edits on the off-chance that something might be wrong with some of them. If you have concerns about another user's editing, discuss the matter with them. If you don't get anywhere, or you think there are more serious problems, take the matter to WP:AN/I and make your case. Either way, be specific, meaning actual diffs, not just vaguely waiving in the general direction of someone. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:10, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
See the thread above, "Misleading edit-summaries and spam." Anomadassi Thero is a Sr Lankese Buddhist teacher, who's self-published three (3) English booklets on Buddhist teachings; see https://anomadassi.lk/english-books/ . Those booklets are WP:PRIMARY and not WP:RS, yet Himadu Sirimanna has added them to numerous articles as "sources" when they were not used as sources. Basically, it's WP:SPAM. Regarding gounding: "an apparent aim of creating irritation, annoyance, or distress to the other editor." I think it's quite clear that reverting spam is not hounding, as per WP:SPAM: "If you find spam, please remove or rewrite the content." Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 10:28, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
