Hi, Isabelle. Did you want one list over all actors in every country and every language since the beginning of film in the 19th century regardless if they have a speaking part or are uncredited? For example, there have been about 100-200,000 unique credited actors in Hindi language films alone. That would be about 1.8 – 3.6 megabytes just to list them (based on an avg. 17 characters/Hindi name; longer if you want brackets to link them, or birth dates to disambiguate them from other actors with the same name). If you want uncredited actors also, it goes up into the millions of people, tens of millions of megabytes. The max Wikipedia page is around 2Mb; the biggest one actually in use is about a third that size (Japanese conjugation (mizenkei base)). But this calculation doesn't include any films in English, or any of the other one to two hundred languages that have a significant body of film production. The link Category:Actors gives a list of categories which link to further categories and articles, and if you keep following links as necessary you will be able to eventually get to any or almost any Wikipedia article about any actor. However, following all the links to find all the articles would a huge task. Likewise with the link Category:Television shows. JBW (talk) 10:29, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
