Hi editors. After about 3 years, I'm back on the site, and I have a request.

In the summer/fall of 2023, some of my "friends" discovered that my Wikipedia account had the status of a verified/trusted user with access to protected articles. They acted mischievously, of course partially because it was I who had acted recklessly, and as a result I was banned from this site.

If it's not too much to ask, and if you deem my record and those 7 years of experience at Wikipedia speaks for itself, then I humbly ask you all yo reconsider the ban and let me get on the board, once again.

I want to contribute, again, not that I ever stopped wishing that.

I hadn't read the above until your ping. I'm not sure if I believe you or not but it's not that important. If somebody else has gained access to your account, it's compromised. There's no way to prove that the person requesting unblock is the legitimate owner of the account. Because I'm a nice person, I'll give you an opportunity to start again, but you'll need to create a new account and declare on its user page that this was your old account. "access to my account" is not something malicious or compromised. It was my own laptop they did so in. They also changed people's name in my contact book, but I digress.

I have seen people acknowledging the sophomoric issues their accounts caused, even deliberately, and my transgression, for one, was not hijacking a US politics discourse with vandalism. I stick to television. I am a 9 years old user who had extended confirmed status. I seek to continue my account from where I left it behind. I get your points too.
