If you could add a page number for S. Willis Rudy. The College of the City of New York: A History 1847 – 1947. The City College Press, 1949. JSTOR, https://jstor.org/stable/community.33126624 and the cite you just added that would be great. Jjazz76 (talk) 20:02, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Samuel J. Tilden High School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Thomas Brown.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Marcia Bricker Halperin (January 25)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Hoary was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please ensure that the draft demonstrates that Halperin satisfies either WP:ARTIST or, more generally, WP:PERSON. As it is, this draft does suggest that the book Kibbitz & Nosh: When We All Met at Dubrow's Cafeteria is notable. Why not put Halperin aside for now, and create a draft about the book?
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.

Ok. Got it. It goes against the style manual I ordinarily use. But I will make the changes. Iss246 (talk) 23:41, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

Bless you.
Over the years, I didn't know about the article creation site, and just went ahead and created articles. When I learned about it, I tried it out.
I appreciate your help. I will inform ForsythiaJo, who was also encouraging.
Thank you. Iss246 (talk) 03:29, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
