Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2016 in animation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wacky Races. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:59, 7 October 2021 (UTC)

Check out what you are linking

While I appreciate your expansions of the years in animation articles, watch what pages you are linking to. In 1916 in animation, several of the links you added went either to disambiguation pages or to the wrong person or character. Dimadick (talk) 19:29, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

CS1 error on 1924 in animation

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page 1924 in animation, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 03:10, 24 June 2023 (UTC)

August 2023

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2003 in animation. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. The Grand Delusion(Send a message) 21:50, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

please use edit summaries

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! -- mikeblas (talk) 23:22, 16 January 2025 (UTC)

Deaths in 2025

Edit summary warnings demanding editors "don't change this again" are pointless, as no editor "owns" anything, least of all an opinion on film precedence which is always open to challenge (Terrence Stamp), and so can make a further valid edit backed up by reliable sources and fact at any time. More to the point, avoid the possibility of edit warring by opening a new section at the talk page instead to discuss the matter calmly. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 21:39, 19 August 2025 (UTC)

However, all that said, I'm happy that things got resolved at the Deaths talk page in a civil and reasoned manner. Best wishes. Ref (chew)(do) 07:32, 20 August 2025 (UTC)

Boldface in 2019 in animation

MOS:NOBOLD states: "Avoid using boldface for emphasis in article text". I bring this to your attention as in the article 2019 in animation you have used boldface for emphasis. Maidenhair (talk) 19:19, 15 September 2025 (UTC)

Unsubstantiated removal

You removed the Awards and Nominations section from Eden Riegel's page without providing a source on September 1st. It has been reversed. If you do so again, you will get a warning and it may result in the end of your editing privileges. Please edit by USING edit summaries. That helps all of us on here. Please do not do what you did on the page of Eden Riegel on any other page on this site, for any reason. Thanks. Historyday01 (talk) 19:09, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
