Hi, this is an automated reminder as part of Global reminder bot to let you know that your permission "patroller" (New page reviewers) will expire on 00:00, 12 February 2026 (UTC). For most rights, you will need to renew at WP:PERM, unless you have been told otherwise when your right was approved. Yes, there's a copyright licence, but *not one that Wikipedia can use*. Please read and understandWikipedia:FAQ/Copyright#Non-commercial licenses Ttocserp 20:03, 11 February 2026 (UTC)

Oh sorry my bad I see, I’ll find another one with a better license The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 20:49, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
@Ttocserp I have changed the image to a more suitable one. Thanks for the advice The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 09:14, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Bro, Your drawing in St George's Regiment (Grenada) is superb.

TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 14:07, 20 February 2026 (UTC)

Funny thing is it’s slightly inaccurate XD I’ve made a more accurate version which I’ll place, but I do love the drawing so I’ll keep it on my User page The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 15:16, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
@KeyolTranslater Will definitely check it out when you upload it! TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 16:24, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
Dude, I checked your article. the new picture is cool ,but I would love it if the soldier had a face. TheGreatEditor024 (talk) 16:27, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
I made a face (albeit a bit goofy) on the Coloured Militia page, the reason I didn’t make a face is because I wanted to use the image on both articles as opposed to having to draw two identical figures (with different skin colours), the easier option was for the faceless one to be on the St George’s Regiment article, and the face one to be on the Militia. I might change that in the coming future not sure yet. The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 16:30, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
Actually I could print the faceless version and add a (white) face, so I’ve used the same image but added an appropriate face. I’ll see if that could work. The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 16:31, 20 February 2026 (UTC)

Warning for using curly quotation marks and apostrophes (“ ” ‟ ‘ ’ ‛), the precomposed ellipsis character (…), three periods with a hair space (. . .), and backtick marks (` ´)

I've been watching your behavior using curly quotation marks and apostrophes (“ ” ‘ ’), the precomposed ellipsis character (), and three periods separated with a hair space (...). The thing that I asked you to stop using these is because I was watching you using these on the help desk, your own pages, and more. Please respond with a reason why or why not you can use straight quotation marks (' ") and three periods without a space (...). I would like or dislike your reason. 🤔 ~2026-78104-0 (talk) 23:38, 20 February 2026 (UTC)

I don’t use those except these (“” and sometimes ‘’) the others I don’t use so perhaps you have the wrong person. The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 09:12, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
Why can't you use straight quotes? Wikipedia recommends straight quote marks and apostrophes to maintain uniformity and avoid complications. This is to help avoid me getting confused with curly apostrophes and quotation marks. So what reason you are using for your reply? Answer when you click on the "Reply" button. ~2026-78104-0 (talk) 00:19, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
I know how to answer questions, not sure why you act like I was born in the last shower of rain (English quote), I use them because for some reason my device doesn’t let me use the other types, I’m not sure why you have a problem with them, they aren’t that complicated to understand, sometimes other people will change the quotation marks, which I always thank them for, I’ve tried doing it myself but copying and pasting them takes more time than writing the articles. The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 09:29, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
Do you use a Mac or a Windows PC? Tell me your answer. ~2026-78104-0 (talk) 21:20, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
No need to be hasty, I’m actually using an IPAD, I usually work on a Windows PC but it’s out of action for the time being The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 09:41, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
But on your iPad go to Settings > General > Keyboard, and set Smart Punctuation to OFF. ~2026-78104-0 (talk) 17:53, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
Oh ok I might do that if that would be better, I’ll see what I can do The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 08:44, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
But why can't you use straight quotes? Tell me the reason. ⏳🕰🌬! ~2026-78104-0 (talk) 03:17, 2 March 2026 (UTC)

Replaceable non-free use File:Norbert Schücking (March 2026).jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:Norbert Schücking (March 2026).jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. tjd (he) T/C 19:40, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

I’ll see what I can do, I’ll ask around and look around thanks. Give me a couple of days The Grenadian Historian (Aka. Mwen Sé Kéyòl Translator-a) (talk) 20:32, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
