Who even are you and how did you find me? LinguisticsEditorGuy (talk) 09:08, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
I'm just a long time editor, nobody important, with a lot of articles on my Watchlist. Earth is one of them.. I can see whenever an article on my Watchlist is changed. I can also see when the editor who made the changes is a newbie and deserves a welcome. HiLo48 (talk) 09:21, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello LinguisticsEditorGuy! Welcome to Wikipedia!

I saw your message on Talk:Agriculture in Qatar (and replied to it), and considering your username, I came to your page because I've been looking for help from people interested and knowledgeable in linguistics for another Qatar-related article.

Please, if you're interested, take a look at the discussions on Talk:Urban Qatari Arabic, and let myself and Elspamo4 know what you think! Of course, also feel free to edit the article itself. Neither of us is knowledgable in linguistics, and your contribution could be very helpful! I'm a (kinda half) native speaker of Urban Qatari Arabic, so if I can help with that in any way I will, but I think that an understanding of linguistics is far more relevant to the matter at the end of the day.

Thanks and good tidings, User:غوّاص العلم (Ghawwas) (talk) 12:09, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

I’m usually more interested in phonology and evolution of languages than actually learning and speaking it. I know some Arabic but that’s MSA and i’m not in the level of fluency. What do you need help with? LinguisticsEditorGuy (talk) 14:20, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
Well, basically, I re-wrote the whole article trying to make things as accurate and relevant as possible according to the available sources, but I basically rephrased a lot of things I don't actually fully understand from the sources. So if you felt like going over the article with your general linguistics knowhow and let me know if there are any issues there stemming from my lack of expertise, that would be really helpful and nice!
Thanks either way and good tidings, User:غوّاص العلم (Ghawwas) (talk) 12:34, 25 December 2025 (UTC)
What even is ISBN 9780367581541? LinguisticsEditorGuy (talk) 06:05, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
Or any other ISBN numbers in the sources? LinguisticsEditorGuy (talk) 07:12, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
Not sure what you mean, apologies. User:غوّاص العلم (Ghawwas) (talk) 10:09, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
It's The Routledge Handbook of Arabic Linguistics, see here. User:غوّاص العلم (Ghawwas) (talk) 10:08, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
