| You've already been awarded several of these, but here is one from the barnstar's creator! Great username! 11WB (talk) 00:31, 20 March 2026 (UTC) |
- By the way, I don't believe your username violates WP:DISRUPTNAME in any way. Your account is half a year old, so WP:UAA would have likely flagged it by now! Thank you for your contributions to the project, and I hope to see you around at some point in the future. Happy editing! 11WB (talk) 00:38, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks!
This editor holds the record for the most Username Barnstars received on the English Wikipedia!
- Oh my gosh, I just checked and I do! At least, I do for your specific barnstar, haha. Although, I reckon there's been a lot of folks who have received other kinds of barnstars for having unique names, and I'm sure I'm not the record holder in that department.
- I've been a bit busy and a bit sick lately, so I haven't been spending very much time on Wikipedia, but I'd like to get back in the swing of things soon! I'm sure you'll see me around more eventually.
- As for WP:DISRUPTNAME, I actually wouldn't have been able to create this account in the first place if I was in violation! My account was created via request with WP:ACC, so an admin with knowledge of username policy would have to have seen it. MEN KISSING (she/they) T - C - Email me! 04:05, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
~2026-18667-41 (talk) has given you a sunflower plant! Sunflowers are given in recognition of valuable contributions to the MediaWiki codebase. These plants are easy to grow, requiring only full sun and moist, well-drained, mulchy soil, and can be processed into delicious sunbutter! If you forget an important anniversary or birthday, your sunflower can also be hastily plucked and presented as a thoughtful gift. If you run out of food for your pet parrot and don't feel like going to the store, your sunflower's seeds will surely come in handy. If, on the other hand, you presently lack a pet bird, no doubt the seeds can help you lure one onto your property. Possessing extensive root systems, sunflowers are able to reach deep into sources of polluted water and extract large amounts of toxic metals, including uranium; the roots of floating rafts of sunflowers were able to extract 95% of the radioactivity in the water following the Chernobyl disaster. Truly it is the plant of 1,000 uses. Little wonder, then, that enclosed in double brackets, it becomes the symbol for the software on which runs our wiki of belovedly versatile usefulness.
Also I just laughed at your user name. ~2026-18667-41 (talk) 21:23, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

Visualizing redirects
Hi, MEN KISSING. Interesting discussion over at HD. I alluded to ways to visualizing redirects at the thread, and wanted to follow up. You can install user script User:Anomie/linkclassifier to to color links on pages you view in various ways as a visual indicator of some page attribute, including redirect pages (and more than a dozen other attributes). It also provides extra classes, which you can then optionally use in your Special:Mypage/common.css to modify links as you wish. I get the script's default redirect color, sort of greenish. I also want to know when a redirect is categorized as {{R with possibilities}}, so I use the added class to tack on a tiny superscript 'P'. For example, if you go to June#People, you will see a sentence in the first paragraph that renders like #1 for you, but I see it as #2:
- The birthstones associated with June in the United States are pearl, moonstone and alexandrite.
- The birthstones associated with June in the United States are pearl, moonstone and alexandrite ⷬ.
This saves me a lot of time hunting for things. This is just the tip of the iceberg, if you want to customize links further. Mathglot (talk) 21:54, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
- I've heard of the script that makes redirects green before; I didn't know it could add information about the redirect itself, though! I'll give it a try some time to see if I can customize it the way I'd like. Thank you! MEN KISSING (she/they) Talk to me, I don't bite! - See my edits 02:47, 3 April 2026 (UTC)

Hello!
I am the User AstronomyKid1 on a different account. (I couldn't sign back in, sadge :( ). At any rate, I noticed that you were a fellow bisexual, and likes indie games! I'm a young soon-to-be graduate, and I like Phasmophobia, Minecraft, and a controversial game, Roblox! 🩷Thatg1rlAv3ry🩷 (Talk to me!!) 16:00, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hello! It's nice to meet you!
- Minecraft is definitely my favorite among those. I especially like mods, like Create and CC: Tweaked. I'm afraid I haven't played much Phasmophobia, and I don't play too much Roblox these days.

May 2026 Administrator Election – Call for Candidates

The administrator elections process has officially started! Interested editors are encouraged to self-nominate or arrange to be nominated by reviewing the instructions at Wikipedia:Administrator elections/May 2026/Candidates.
Here is the schedule:
- April 29 – May 5: Call for candidates
- May 8–12: Discussion phase
- May 13–19: SecurePoll voting phase
Please note the following:
- The requirements to run are identical to RFA—a prospective candidate must be extended confirmed.
- Prospective candidates are advised to become familiar with the community's expectations of administrators, which are much higher than the minimum requirement of having extended confirmed status. This includes reviewing successful and unsuccessful RFAs, reading the essay Wikipedia:Advice for admin elections candidates, and possibly requesting an optional poll on their chances of passing.
- The process will have a seven day call for candidates phase, a two day pause, a five day discussion phase, and a seven day private vote using SecurePoll. Discussion and questions are only allowed on the candidate pages during the discussion phase.
- The outcome of this process is identical to making a request for adminship. There is no official difference between an administrator appointed through RFA versus administrator elections.
- Administrator elections are also a valid means of regaining adminship for de-sysopped editors.
Ask any questions about the process at the talk page. Later, a user talk message will be sent to official candidates with additional information about the process.
If you are interested in the process, please make sure to watchlist the appropriate pages. A watchlist notice will be added when the discussion phase opens, and again when the voting phase opens.

May 2026 Administrator Elections – Discussion Phase

The discussion phase of the May 2026 administrator elections is officially open. As a reminder, the schedule of the election is:
- May 8–12: Discussion phase (we are here)
- May 13–19: SecurePoll voting phase
- Scrutineering phase
We are currently in the discussion phase. The candidate subpages are open to questions and comments from everyone, in the same style as a request for adminship. You may discuss the candidates at Wikipedia:Administrator elections/May 2026/Discussion phase.
On 13 May, we will start the voting phase. The candidate subpages will close to public questions and discussion, and everyone will have a week to use the SecurePoll software to vote, which uses a secret ballot. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for.
Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

May 2026 Administrator Elections – Voting Phase

The voting phase of the May 2026 administrator elections has started and will continue until 19 May 2026 at 23:59 UTC. You can participate in the voting phase at Wikipedia:Administrator elections/May 2026/Voting phase.
As a reminder, the schedule of the election is:
- May 13–19: SecurePoll voting phase (we are here)
- Scrutineering phase
In the voting phase, the candidate subpages close to public questions and discussion, and everyone who qualifies to vote has a week to use the SecurePoll software to vote, which uses a secret ballot. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for. Please note that the vote totals cannot be made public until after voting has ended and as such, it will not be possible for you to see an individual candidate's vote total during the election. The suffrage requirements are similar to those at RFA.
Once voting concludes, we will begin the scrutineering phase, which will last for a few days, perhaps longer. Once everything is certified, the results will be posted on the results page (this is a good page to watchlist), and transcluded to the main election page. In order to be granted adminship, a non-recall candidate must have received at least 70.0% support, calculated as Support / (Support + Oppose), and a minimum of 20 support votes. Recall candidates must achieve 55.0% support. Because this is a vote and not a consensus, there are no bureaucrat discussions ("crat chats").
Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

1,000 edits
Although I, too, have started to decline in activity, I figured I would stop by to leave a small, unimportant message for making (probably 1,000 edits by the time you see this! The count is at 998 by the time I post this.
Among the users I have seen at various noticeboards (and their own talk pages, as a matter of fact), you are easily one of the kindest and curious of them, and, for a user who joined less than a year ago, one of the most knowledgeable and diligent.
Keep up the great work, and I hope I'm not the only one to congratulate you on this first major milestone!

- I delay posting talk pages messages to make sure I have gotten everything right, and so while I was checking what I had wrote, it occurred to me that you might see the message before you made your next edit, or you could make several more edits before noticing. But alas, it seems my timing truly was nearly perfect! (Although, I was aiming to have your reply be your 1,000th edit, so I was off by one, but does it truly matter? :?) )
- - BlueEleephant (talk · contribs) 05:11, 16 May 2026 (UTC)
- I also try and take care to do as much diligence and get things right as I can before I hit "reply". Part of the reason I went on WikiBreak was because I had caught myself not focusing enough on the matters I'm participating in. But, with my finals done and my semester officially over, I can finally clear my head and spend time doing more of things I enjoy on the project again!
- You know, come to think of it, I wish I had done my 999th edit and my 1,000th edit in the opposite order. I think rather than show off my 1,000th edit on my user page, I'm going to put my 999th edit on there instead. Heck, I could just lie and say that the 999th was my 1,000th. Who's to say I can't? Haha! MEN KISSING (she/they) Talk to me, I don't bite! - See my edits 05:36, 16 May 2026 (UTC)
- Good for you that finals are over in your area! Funnily enough, finals started about 2 days ago for me, so I have been thinking about going on an actual script-enforced WikiBreak so I don't spend so much time on Wikipedia ever since. (I really should!)

- ...that our sauces must have depth?
- (See also: User:Panini!/Talk Page Banners if you want to kill time) - BlueEleephant (talk · contribs) 05:53, 16 May 2026 (UTC)
- Very random (and rather unimportant): Today, I got back access to my computer from being grounded, which means I no longer need to use my ChromeBook to edit. But, while looking through Wikipedia, I noticed, or rather thought, that you had suddenly changed your signature to a deep violet, although that seems to be an artefact of Chrome parsing the color "#64F" differently than my PC's Bing browser. Which signature color is intended, deep blue, violet, or something else? - BlueEleephant (talk · contribs) 00:59, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- Violet is intended. I'm out of space for characters in my signature, so I can't really fix it unless I overhaul my signature (although, I do plan to do that!)
- I'm actually having another similar strange issue. Since I'm now on Linux Mint, some alternate fonts are displaying, including a different font for my signature. I'm actually not sure how it looks for other folks anymore! MEN KISSING (she/they) Talk to me, I don't bite! - See my edits 03:47, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
What does my signature look like?
| This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
Apologies if this is a misuse of {{Help me}}. I'd like someone to take a screenshot of my signature and show it to me. I'm aware it renders differently on others' devices, and I'm wondering what exactly it looks like to others currently.
The signature in question: MEN KISSING (she/they) Talk to me, I don't bite! - Solidarity 23:01, 26 May 2026 (UTC)

- Interesting. Crash's picture is what I remember it being, but it currently displays as Times New Roman for me on my new computer, like Alto reports. The intended color is purple, but I set it via "#64F", which I thought would render for everyone, but I guess it doesn't. I think I'll update my signature then answer Alto's question below.
