List of The Ring world champions

Hey @Mac Dreamstate, long time no speak, hope all is well. I just wanted to get your thoughts on when you think The Ring magazine super middleweight title held by Terence Crawford was vacated. So recently at List of The Ring world champions, it was updated by another user to say the title was vacated on 27 January 2026. The Ring's own policy as stated in the "Championship Vacancies" tab of their website (here), states that one of the ways a champion can lose his title is if he retires, which means the title would have technically been vacated on 16 December 2025 (the date he announced his retirement). The only problem is, I’ve found an archived link of their website from 19 December 2025 which still shows him as their champion (see here), but maybe they only update their website every so often? I’ve found another source from DAZN dated 19 January 2026 which shows The Ring magazine super middleweight title as being vacant (see here). What do you think should be done for the sake of accuracy? Great to hear from you! All's good—just needed to step away from my watchlist because it started to feel like whack-a-mole. In this Crawford scenario, because there are a fair few conflicting sources, plus the risk of SYNTH if trying to 'piece them together', a compromise might be to simply put January as the date vacated. It might also be worth getting in touch with Ring staff to find out the specific date. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 01:46, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
That’s actually a good idea. I’m gonna email them and see if I can get a response. Thanks! GOAT Bones231012 (talk) 02:27, 1 February 2026 (UTC)

WP:TAIP

Please do not explicitly associate a temporary account with an IP address as you did on WP:AIV, per WP:TAIP. EvergreenFir (talk) 17:40, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Unfortunately I have no idea what any of that means. I've largely taken a break from widespread editing in the past year, so if it's a new feature I'm unfamiliar. Nothing at WP:TAIP makes sense to me. What do I do in future when reporting that LTV? Mac Dreamstate (talk) 18:02, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Ski flying distance records

Hey! Do you perhaps know for sure if personal, hill or world records are recognized although they were achieved in cancelled round? Sportomanokin (talk) 08:29, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

Thanks. Yes, it is logical and it is clear that personal bests, HR and WR achieved in cancelled rounds do count. Bunch of women's personal bests were achieved in Sunday's (Maruyama, Freitag, Kvandal...) cancelled round in Vikersund. And here is the proof. But @Snowflake91 claimed the other way, so I just wanted to make sure. Sportomanokin (talk) 15:35, 28 March 2026 (UTC)
